Stock Count

Now I'm in the third week of my little pond project. Clarity of water is getting better now. Can see at least 1.5 feet down. So this morning I did a stock count of what's inside the pond.

Big Goldfish - 1 (fat one) found so far. My mum says they put a few inside. But not sure how many survived till today. They stay at the bottom of the pond all the time. So it's difficult to see them.

Small Goldfish - They're put in as food for the silver arowana but in the end, all survived! So I have 10 small goldfish now. My mum like them cos she thinks they looked like Koi.

Guppies - Don't know how many because there are big ones and small ones...even saw a few 'newborns' today. Now my friend refuse to give me guppies anymore because she knows they'll be food for my arowana. Heehee...

Pleco (aka sucker fish) - Found 1 today! Ugly fellow. I always wonder why the pond walls are so clean (so little algae). So this must be the reason.

Prawns - Put in as food for the arowana too. Don't know how many inside there but can still see a few snatching food from the fishes.

Silver arowana - Qty 1? Reported lost since the 3rd day it was put in. No sighting since then. Feared dead as there is no evidence of its existence in the pond. Its 'food' are still surviving and thriving in the pond! If it's still alive, what is it eating?! If it's dead, why?! Even the goldfish are surviving so well. I thought arowanas are quite hardy? Me not going to give up. Search will continue for this young fish...
